With the file address clearly visible, click Add to begin the upload process.
Depending upon the size of the file, images may require several minutes to appear.
PENDING (Video & Audio)
There is a lot more to uploading videos and audio clips than meets the eye. It's a well known fact that clients do not have the patience to wait for your files to "spool" prior to viewing. To eliminate "spooling," your files undergo an extensive process which renders them immediately viewable by the client. This does not diminish quality; it simply provides a better service for the clients. Depending upon file size and the number of members in the queue, the conversion process may take anywhere from a few minutes to as long as twenty-four hours. In the meantime, the word "Pending" will appear under Status to the right of the icon associated with the upload. When the file is "Ready," you may view the file within the Preview Area by selecting its File Name.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you followed the instructions and uploaded a file with a supported format, very seldom will the file not render a “Ready” status within 24 hour. If the file remains “Pending” for an extended period of time,
one of two reasons is causing the problem:
(1) Corrupt File
Delete the file and try uploading again.
(2) Codec issue
Videos do not have a standard format. Each camera and its corresponding software create a different format, known as a codec. A codec is a device or computer program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream or signal.
Our software converts all uploaded videos into the industry standard H263 format, which exists on every computer (both PC & Apple). If the video’s corresponding codec has not been released by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), our technicians will complete certain formalities to obtain the legal rights to convert and display your video. Once processed by the OEM and configured by the H236 standard committee, codecs of the same type will convert (activate) within a few minutes.
NOTE:
New codec formats may take 2 to 90 business days depending upon the OEM, their hardware and software configurations. In the meantime, unregistered codecs are beyond our control and you have two available options: (a) have the file professionally converted to a existing codec (a) try uploading the file at a later date.
