Luis Medina is an actor, writer, and theater artist originally from California. He spent 10 years living in New York, where he trained at two well-known acting conservatories: The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Atlantic Theater Company Acting School.

While in New York, Luis worked in theater on a regular basis. One of his longest projects lasted four years, where he worked as the lead actor, director, and part of the stage crew. These experiences helped him build a strong background in both acting and live theater.

Luis now lives in North Carolina with his wife and their three cats. He continues to work in theater and has also been professionally published as an author.

On screen, Luis is known for Goodbye New York, Thanks for the Adventure (2012), Bloodlines (2025), and Nix Figment. Along with acting, he enjoys writing and working on creative projects.

Luis can play many different types of roles, including the guy next door, blue-collar workers, doctors, lawyers, all-American characters, European characters, and other unique personalities.

He speaks fluent English and has conversational skills in Spanish and French. He can perform French, Irish, and Mexican accents. He also has experience with IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet).

His other skills include handgun training, ballroom dancing, waltz, and swing dance. He enjoys sports such as baseball, bowling, billiards, hiking, and arm wrestling. Luis also plays the saxophone at an advanced level.

Over the years, Luis has built experience in theater, film, and writing. He enjoys taking on different kinds of roles and continues to work on projects that let him grow as an actor and storyteller.
