This is true, especially for those who are just getting started. That is one reason why so many actors and models decide not to turn them down, even if they aren't fully comfortable with the project. There is also a concern that if they say no to an agent, their representative will be angry with them and perhaps stop submitting or even release them. Those things could happen, but if you turn something down for a good reason, a great agent gets it and will respect your thoughts- even if they aren't happy with your decision. It is essential to put your life, morals, and beliefs on top of everything else. You never want to agree to work on a project that you will regret.
